TWO WOLVES

SCHOOLS PROGRAMME
Duration: hALF DAY & FULL DAY EXPERIENCES

Getting Young Men Outdoors, Active, and talking about health & wellness

Our Two Wolves Programme has been designed to get young men talking about the issues relevant to them. These can often include topics such as mental health, challenges relating to traditional stereotypes, the changing face of masculinity, relationships, social media, consent and pornography. The group will spend time working with our guides in an outdoor environment, undertaking a range of bushcraft challenges, while at the same time engaging in workshops and discussions around the above topics.

Creating a space to explore topics around mental health

Venture Out guides bring the young participants into the outdoors, creating a safe space in which they can feel comfortable enough to talk about the issues relevant to their health and wellbeing.

We find that young men open up more once they are engaged in exciting, fun and challenging experiences and activities. Once we get them out of the classroom and sitting around a fire, we immediately see a change in their engagement and enthusiasm. With the scene set, we are then able to open up discussions around topics that would traditionally be challenging for young men to explore.
