This 7 day wilderness based personal development programme is designed to support anyone impacted by drugs and alcohol, to support them in developing healthy lifestyle habits, affective coping strategies, and a focused action plan for positive future change.

Venture Out are seeking adventurous Souls to join our team!

As our business grows, we are seeking qualified and experienced outdoor facilitators to join our team.

If you have lead qualifications in Mountaineering, Forest School Leadership or Outdoor education, along with experience working within the social care sector, we would love to hear from you.

We currently require part time facilitators to help deliver all programmes - from our Ember wilderness based personal development expeditions to our Branching Out and Unearth weekly youth work sessions.

Venture Out are delighted to have been funded through CYPSC Mayo to deliver a number of our Branching Out activity days with teenagers and youth projects across the Mayo region in the coming months. Last Few Spaces left on our Upcoming FOLM Galway Based personal development Programme

After a fantastic 5 days last week during our 1st FOLM (From Outdoor to Labour Market) course of the year, we are delighted to be running a 2nd week, starting next Monday 31st May and running until June 4th.

This is a day time course (10am - 4pm), which does not involve overnights, and will be based in and around Galway City.

If you are not currently in full time education, training or employment, between 18-30 years of age and interested in learning a little about your self while taking on a challenge, this outdoor based personal development programme is for you.

This course is free, with all equipment, food and transport costs covered for the week. If you are interested in signing up, or want more information, please get in touch.

Venture Out secure funding through 'The Ireland Funds' to increase participation in our 1:1 Unearth Programme

We are delighted to announce that we have been successful in securing funding through the Ireland Funds to increase the number of young people and young adults we engage within our innovative 1:1 Outdoor based support service.

We are looking forward to working closely with our partners on the ground within the social care sector to identify and offer these places out to those most in need.

Ember Wilderness Based Personal Development Expedition - June 21st-27th

We are delighted to be able to start delivering our wilderness based personal development expeditions again.

Our next programme will run from June 21st until 27th and will involve 7 days of camping and hiking through the hills and wilderness of Connemara.

We are seeking participants between the age of 18-40years interested in making a positive change in their lives. If you find yourself stuck or struggling with challenges such as long term unemployment, mental health related issues, recovery from drugs or alcohol, offending or homelessness, get in touch to learn more about our programme.
